Books: The Code Book (Simon Singh)

This is my all-time favourite maths book. The story is told in such a compelling way, and the maths in it is explained in a very accessible way.

Simon Singh also wrote Fermat’s Last Theorem, which was my first introduction to him. He is an active user of Twitter, although he is now more focussed on his connections with the homeopathy industry caused by his infamous libel case.

I have great admiration for Simon Singh. To find out more about this author, please visit his website here

Professor Stewart’s Hoard of Mathematical Treasures

Ian Stewart is rightly a very popular author of mathematical trivia books. I first came across him when I read The Magical Maze.
